After listening to this song a bunch of times this last week, I'm convinced that the reason Paula is so batshit crazy from time to time is because she's just a simple girl who needs some good loving in the heat of the night. And she STILL looks good.

Wednesday Remix Club #13
Trying to find a picture of Natural Resource is like trying to find a democratic presidential candidate in 2008. They only put out 2 records, and only one of the group really went on to do anything major - What What aka Jean Grae. But those two records were pretty slamming.

Right On Time
Not much info on these guys except that they are from New York, and this song hit #1 in 1981. Bust out the Soul Glo!

Flamboyant
Sidewalk Score! So I found a bunch of great records deserted in the rain on the sidewalk, and I decided to save them. Good thing I did, because I found some gems, like this one here.

Wednesday Remix Club # 12
Now we're cooking! OK, so admittedly, Wu-Tang et al has fallen the f*ck off in mine (and many others) books, but there is no denying that that first LP, and many of the group's first solo albums were off the hook. Method Man, ODB, Genius and of course The Chef. I've finally finished my hip hop doubles recording project, and of course my Wu records came at the end, and I re-discovered this little forgotten gem, that I think went relatively unnoticed, as it was never properly released to my knowledge. Thanks again college radio and superfluous Loud records promos!

Raer!
Been a while since the last update as I have been knee deep in some serious ebay madness (SHAMELESS PLUG: BUY MY RECORDS!!!) but thought I'd throw up one of the more sought after gems that I ripped for this. Stupid rare, not released on any album, only available as a white label promo. I don't even remember who sent this to me, only that I was still on mailing lists from my college radio days.

FUCK YEAH!
I have been rocking the fuck out to this the last two days. Nothing deep here, just pure awesomeness.

A Quickie
Damn, I haven't put up anything for a minute, so here's a quickie request that I filled out for someone over at the Hollerboard. Erule was LA rap royalty for a hot minute, then kinda disappeared into the ether. He put out some more music after his first single, but people kinda forgot about him by the time that happened, and I really think he didn't achieve what he could have. Thanks Pallas!
